Rabbi Eli Garfinkel
Rabbi Eli Garfinkel leads Temple Beth El in Somerset, New Jersey, and wrote the JPS Jewish Heritage Torah Commentary. He was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1999 and has been in Somerset since 2005, where he started the shul’s film festival and its communal seders. He writes a short d’var Torah every day, and builds iOS apps when he isn’t. He lives with his wife, Naomi Lasky, and their twins.
