Our Story

 

 

The Kosher Duck Revolution began with something simple, whimsical, and joyful: a rubber ducky. But these aren’t just any ducks. They are kosher-themed, colorful, and proudly adorned with Jewish symbols and messages of love. Each duck is tagged to connect people back to a growing online community — a place to share stories, photos, and messages of unity from around the world.

 

What started as one woman hiding ducks to make strangers smile has quickly become a movement. On cruise ships, in cities, in parks, and in unexpected corners of daily life, people are finding these little ducks and discovering that they carry something much bigger than plastic and paint: they carry kindness, pride, and connection.

 

At its heart, the Kosher Duck Revolution is about spreading love. Jewish love. Non-Jewish love. Universal love. A Hindu man asked if there could be ducks for Diwali — and that’s exactly the point. The ducks are a starting place for friendship, curiosity, and cultural sharing. They are little ambassadors of joy that invite people into deeper understanding and remind us that kindness is stronger than hate.

 

 

What We Do

 

 

Through our website and global network of participants, we:

• Spread joy and love by encouraging people to hide, find, and share kosher ducks in their communities.

• Offer unique ducks for purchase — handmade ducks, themed collections, and customizable options that carry meaningful messages.

• Host duck parties and campaigns where organizations, schools, synagogues, and families can use ducks to build community.

• Partner with nonprofits to co-brand ducks and direct people toward causes, resources, and educational materials.

• Create global connections with an interactive map, showing where ducks are found and re-hidden — turning the world into a canvas of kindness.

• Provide Jewish and interfaith resources — links to kosher guides, books about Israel, and stories of solidarity that expand understanding and cultural appreciation.

 

 

From duck drops on military bases with flags chosen by donors, to custom-printed ducks with personal messages, to nonprofits using ducks as fundraising and outreach tools, every duck becomes part of something bigger: a revolution of kindness and Jewish pride.

 

And yes — because the world needs a reminder — these ducks are not for eating. (If people ate Tide Pods, we don’t want to risk it!)

 

 

Why Ducks?

 

 

Why not? They’re small, cheerful, familiar, and a little silly — which is exactly why they work. In a time when antisemitism and division seem to grab the headlines, a playful duck can break down walls, spark a smile, and start a conversation. If hate can go viral, why can’t love?
